In preparation for the September 2026 issue of Buletin Ilmiah Nagari Membangun, the Editorial Board cordially invites academics, researchers, lecturers, teachers, practitioners, students, and professionals concerned with community development to submit their best scholarly articles for publication.

Buletin Ilmiah Nagari Membangun is a scholarly publication that focuses on the dissemination of community service outcomes, the application of science and technology, and innovative practices that make meaningful contributions to community development and empowerment.

The journal welcomes manuscripts covering, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Community empowerment;

  • Education and learning development;

  • Food security;

  • Public health;

  • Social development and community welfare;

  • Creative economy and entrepreneurship;

  • Preservation of local culture and indigenous knowledge;

  • Human resource development;

  • Dissemination and application of science and appropriate technology; and

  • Innovation and technological development for communities.

Buletin Ilmiah Nagari Membangun is a peer-reviewed journal published by Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (Institute for Research and Community Services) Universitas Andalas. Buletin Ilmiah Nagari Membangun is an open access and peer-reviewed journal that aims to offer an academic platform for scientific writings and report on the results of community services, outreach and dissemination.

Buletin Ilmiah Nagari Membangun will publish and disseminate the results of the application of science, technology, and art by university scholars in the community. Buletin Ilmiah Nagari Membangun generally focuses on several issues of community empowerment, and dissemination of appropriate science and technology in education, food security, health, social, economic, local culture, and human resource development.

The journal encourages contributions from university scholars based on related issues. Buletin Ilmiah Nagari Membangun is published four times a year in March, June, September and December.
